J.B.O’s anniversary year might be over, but there are no signs of a hangover. Those who thought that the black-pink-golden warriors would now rest on their laurels were wrong. They are motivated by the success of their latest top ten album “I Don’t Like Metal”, and J.B.O’s headquarters are already preparing the next record. Make sure you don’t miss J.B.O’s third concert at the Rockhal Club on 19 November 2011.
They’ve been described by the press as a fun metal band, humorists, professional comedians, nonsense rockers, a quartet of clowns and a cult band. But what’s really behind J.B.O? Definition impossible! One thing is for sure: they’re the true defenders of nonsense. Thanks to J.B.O, a coexistence of humour und heavy metal is possible. Because the force is with the ones who have fun!
These four hedonists’ peerless and pink success story started in 1989 at the Erlangen newcomer’s festival in Germany. It was meant to be a short-term fun project formed at a bar.
Instead, Vito, Hannes, Holmer and Schmitti got a contract with a record label, their following CDs were all ground-breaking masterpieces which reached the top of the charts, and their concerts seemed more like victory parades. In 2000, Holmer and Schmitti were replaced by Wolfram and Ralph, but this didn’t harm their success. J.B.O even started to play abroad, Europe’s biggest open air festivals and a growing fan base speak for themselves. Rock’n roll is their religion!
The new studio record “Killeralbum” is due for release on 19 August! J.B.O are famous for their spectacular live performance, they even impress fans of serious metal bands such as Metallica or Megadeth.
Make sure you get your tickets for the show because J.B.O are stopping over at the Rockhal once again on 19 November 2011! ro
